Why would anyone keep a blog? I used to say “because it’s fun,” but now the answer is “because Twitter is blocked.”
I’m from the northeast of the US, went to college in the south and have lived various amounts of time in Europe, Africa, Chengdu, Dalian and now Beijing. My background is in policy and politics, although I’m still pretty sure that one day I will be a Major League pitcher.
Cup of Cha is something I do in my spare time and has absolutely no connection with my formal work, opinions of my current, past or future employers, their families or distant acquaintances. I speak for me, and probably do so too much.
