Apparently the authorities wanted to see their KTV license.... Pending clarification on this the club was only allowed to open as a lounge. I am told the license thing is fully resolved and there is no issue with the "old owner of China Doll" or anyone else... I dont know if I would call it a fantastic success - but it was pretty cool, this place is not going to be for everyone but the design is surreal and sexy and the colors and lights are seductively playful. It was not shut down as some alleged. I was there with friends until 4AM and had a fantastic time. The crowd is decidedly sexy and cool. The design of the club is sensational and the music is very hip and modern. Only the airconditioning system did not work so well, but when you cram that many more people into a space design for half of the space, it was hard not to feel a little over-heated...
