They are taught to "love our contry, love CCP" since theire childhood and these ideas has been rooted in theire heads. They don't know what's real opinions outside China. How do they know their government is hiding the truth? Besides, only a few Chinese pople can read, wite and speak in English without difficulty. What they know about ourside China are from their media. What a shame! But most Chinese people take it for granted that it is necessary for CCP to pull down the riots. But, people who don't care, the one's who need to be shocked, bothered or annoyed into action, are not. To that extent the government's tactics are somewhat successful here, especially if people just don't care about the truth being kept from them either. The way I see it, is that the, incredibly ineffective against anyone motivated, blocking tactics here are not an attempt to stop the preaching; just an attempt to make sure the the preaching only reaches the converted. No one who cares is fooled. But, people who don’t care, the one’s who need to be shocked, bothered or annoyed into action, are not. To that extent the government’s tactics are somewhat successful here, especially if people just don’t care about the truth being kept from them either.
