   不管是狗肉或者是别的，一点点的肉我都不吃。
   对我来说，猪肉跟狗肉没什么特别大的差别。
   但是大部分的老外都不同意。

   Actually, I had 狗肉 once by accident. We were at a social function with one of the local cadres in Anhui at a banquet-style lunch. After digging into a stone-pot cooked meat dish, one of my colleagues asked me and my other laowai friend if we enjoyed the dog meat we just had. He was appauled and didn’t eat anything else the entire meal. Me… I went back for seconds… it’s not that bad (though I’m not going to ever order it) If you want disgusting, try camel feet… now that’s vile!

   Most westerns don’t eat dog meat. (Most?)Muslims don’t eat pork. What’s the fuss? Never heard muslims make a big fuss about pork being consumed by westerners on a daily basis.

   Dog is eaten in China and other countries at some places, sometimes by some people.
   Pork is eaten in the world at some places, sometimes by some people.
   Beef is eaten in the world at some places, sometimes by some people.
   Lamb is eaten in the world at some places, sometimes by some people.
   …..
   So what?

   As I said in my previous comment, I don’t eat any meat except seafood. Pigs are smarter than dogs, so I don’t see much of a difference. And yet people will try to brush it under the rug (Seoul had to stop selling dog meat in 1988).

   What’s Hegemony?
   If he says the dog is human’s best friend and you still eat its meat, then you are Barbarian!
   I f you say ox is holy animal and he should stop eating beaf, then he will say you are Barbarian!
   That’s Hegemony, eat what they want you eat, say what they want you say, and do what they want you do. They are mercy, they will not occupy your land, they just want you behave like them!
