Funny YouTube Links

Posted February 16th, 2008 by Josh

Tired of the Olympics, snow, and the election? Here’s some good old fashioned fun.

This is a series of videos, the first of which I’ll post and the rest of which I’ll link to. I never knew that Jimmy Kimmel was funny, but if these are any indication, he’s absolutely hilarious.

There’s also this red carpet snub, followed by a Borne Ultimatum spoof (probably the funniest), and finally, Matt Damon gets revenge in a cold-hearted way.

Then we’ll move on to Norm McDonald, who somehow has fallen off the map even though he’s one of the funniest men around and just doesn’t care whom he offends. Wait, maybe that’s why someone sabotaged his career. Anyway, this is him with some Melrose girl. Watch the whole the thing, because it’s Norm at his best and it takes time to develop.

Here is part one and two of Norm on The View. It takes about 3 minutes to accept it’s really not a spoof. And finally, here are parts one and two of Norm MacDonald at the White House Correspondence Dinner. Of course, watching this begs the question: why in the world do they bother to do these when the press corps obviously has no sense of humor.

And finally, via Bill Simmons, here’s a clip for all of you heartbroken Cowboys fans.

 [Below is an added bonus]

I nearly forgot to include this video, since most people have already seen it, and it’s not exactly funny. However, given our discussion a while back about celebrity songs for a cause, I would be remiss if I left this one out. And whatever your views on Obama, it’s impossible to walk away from this not feeling like you did the first time you finished the movie Rudy.

The craziest thing about that Yes We Can video is that the words are not from a victory speech, as you might guess. They’re from his New Hampshire concession. If you want to talk about graciousness and eloquence, that speech is all you need to see.
